Shakur's path to me was very convoluted and uncertain. From an early age she was accompanied by certain health ailments that made it difficult for me to make a decision about buying her into the breeding program. But she was somehow different.. It was as if she found me, as if she called me, as if SHE knew in advance how it would all turn out, and that her being with me is clear, she was born for that.. When considering the purchase of this black filly, friend of mine told me one holy piece of advice that I had been giving her for years: "follow your heart, it always guides you in the right way." And so they all went aside doubts and fears, because the heart felt long ago that this extraordinary creature with a black body and a bright eye had come to move me one step further on our journey.
SHAKURU
Breeding potential of Shakuru:
Above all, extraordinary color, Shakuru is pitch-black :). For connoisseurs of the genetic pattern, she is: EE aa, without G and Cr genes, so she will not lighten or whiten, and will always give a black or brown foal in the genetic base (or their shades according to the color profile of the stallion). She also has a quarter hips, is a god at field work, and watching her hind legs under the hindquarters is exactly the reference of the quarter line in her pedigree. Plus the communication! She is so gentle! Unspoiled, communicative, brave, stouthearted, she gets into the trailer by herself to see if there is anything good to eat, loves adventure and loves people. And I love her heart, which made me realize how important it is to listen to mine.

Above average willingness to work with people. They will laugh with you, rejoice, but also upset you if you are insincere. They love your emotions, you don't have to play anything in front of them. Give them simple, understandable communication and they will be happy to be guided. Both in a herd and in cooperation. By choosing the right Sire, I support the color in Shakur's offspring, but I also balance her hot-blooded nature. So I try to choose one that promotes calmness in crisis situations as well as tenacity in any work with the owner, whether you just want to enjoy the presence of a horse as a pleasure rider or have sport ambitions. Quarter horses are horses suitable for beginners, appaloosas will give you heart, to a single person for life. Shakuru's one is so huge that it holds the entire universe.

His sire, PAY IT FORWARD, former World Champion, National Champion, multiple World Reserve Champion, multiple National Reserve Champion, is a National and World Champion producer! The mother is CC ME, a Quarter Horse palomina with great physical structure, imposing but at the same time elegant and refined! In her career, she won the title of AQHA World Champion.
